EVFD firefighter Kevin J. Foster, 41, was lost in the line of duty on November 17, 2005. Kevin was a 17-year veteran of the department and he will be greatly missed.

A memorial service with full honors for Kevin was held March 25, 2006 in Forsyth, Georgia, at the Georgia State Fire Academy. From October 6-8, he will be remembered at the National Fallen Firefighter's Memorial in Maryland.

A fund to help the Foster family has been set up at Wachovia Bank.
